scrapbooking, or since she likes the computer, digital scrapbooking. If she's a myspace member, she could make layouts for the website for others...its not that hard to code HTML.

In all honesty almost any hobby can be a good hobby for any agegroup (there are a few out there which are adult only but those are relativly few and extremely specific).
Describing your daughter as 'lively' doesn't tell me or anyone else what her interests are.
Talk to your daughter find out a topic or five that are of interest to her then look into hobbies related to that/those topic(s). just picking a hobby nd making her try it for her will do you both absolutey no good if she has no interest in it. in fact, forcing a hobby she doesn't like on her could damage your relationship.
while talking to your daughter about what her interests are, listen to her, don't impose your own interests, but if she is interested in something you do or like feel free to discuss that topic at length with her, and perhaps you can find a hobby related to it you can both take up together.

modeling clay. They even make one by Sculpey that you bake and make an eraser. I think that one is great.

We just got make your own super balls. That one was fun too.
How about needlepoint or crochet?

Making candles. I just saw a craft where you made candles with a tea cup and saucer they were very cute and nice to make as gifts.

My daughter just started the violin. She absolutely loves it.

And she likes horses. She started to volunteer at a stabel twice a week and she helps out around there.

Crochet! If you don't know how to crochet it can be a learning project for both of you. I have been crocheting since I was nine years old. It is a passon. It is fun and relaxing and a great past time.
