not unless u own the "mineral rights" to it as well. like if they found oil under ur house then they could dig to it diagonally unless u specifically own the mineral rights to the land ur house is on.

I imagine so. That is a very interesting question. I can't imagine anyone owning land underneath you, but maybe that will be an issue to come up someday. Do you remember the planet, Corescant in Star Wars. The entire planet was a city. So how could you own land underneath someone in that setting?
