Oh hunny, sometimes it takes awhile. It took me 11 months to get pregnant this time, and I charted and took the vitamins and proped my bum, all that. I figured it would happen right away since my last baby was conceived while I was on birth control.
Sometimes I think the more we want the baby the longer we have to wait.
I hated going through the 2ww, every month was such a dissapointment. Not to mention it seemed EVERYONE around me got pregnant, so discouraging!
Hopefully your BFP is just around the corner.
*baby dust* to you my dear.
Good Luck!
*edit* don't worry about seeing a fertility specialist until after a year of trying, it can take that long for normal healthy couples to conceive.

I have been there not once but twice!! It took 20 months for baby #1 and 11 months for #2. I feel for you. Most doctors in my area will not even consider fertility treatments untill at least a year of trying. I agree with the women who says to only do your thing every other day starting the 10th day after the first day of your last period. You may try this for months but it was the only thing that worked for me. Im sure people will tell you to just relax that when God is ready for you to start your familly it will happen. It may not help but it is true. When I tried with my first, 23 of my friends or family and even my dog had babies before I did. Try taking up a new activity to keep your mind of the issue, and most of all have fun trying, it can really put a strain on your relationship. God bless you.

Try and figure out when you ovulate. Most women ovulate about 2 weeks after their periods have ended. Go pick up one of those ovulation predictor kits, they can help you out real well on being able to tell you when you are fertile. Also, just try and not think about getting pregnant. I know that's a hard thing to do when you want a baby so bad, but the moment you stop worrying about it is the moment you will wind up pregnant. Good luck!

Let me tell you how I did it. Worked EVERY time we tried.
Count from the first day of your period. Wait 10 days. Make love that night, skip the next. Make love the third night, skip the next. Make love the 5th night, skip the next. Ttc cycle complete.
You can additionally make love any night except when you're on the love, skip schedule.
Your hubby's sperm count is highest if you give it a day to recover between ttc days.
I ovulate very regularly, obviously, so getting there was no problem for us.
Have fun!

Yes, get on the prenatal vitamins pronto. Your baby needs folic acid to develop his spine properly, so get it on board so the baby will have access to it immediately after you conceive. Chin up. Everybody does it, and you will too.

Try using the First Response Ovualtion test. I tried for 6 months to get pregnant with my fiancee and nothing happened. We used that and the first time using it I got pregnant. You might just be trying at the wrong times. But remember don't have sex all the time it takes 24 hours for the sperm to regenerate. If you keep having sex everyday you will have a smaller chance of getting pregnant bc the amount of sperm is decreased and doesn't have time to "re-stock" lmao.
Good Luck

Honestly, I have 3 children and my first two were not planned, my third however I tried for 2 years to get pg, and I ended up having to ask my Dr for a fertility drug. I took Chlomid. It's a Pill you take for 7 days and ensures the release of healthy eggs. Good luck!!!

All of these opinions are great, but the true answer will come from a doctor. There could be specific problems you have or don't have. It could be your husband who is having the trouble. I would definitely see about going to a fertility specialist. Best of luck!

I think it works best when you aren't trying so much. Everyone I know ..including myself who has children never have a "planned pregnacy" My husband and I use the "pull out method" with the occasional slip up. It took us about 4 months and we concieved a precious baby boy.
