I have been on it for about 8 weeks now. No spotting, no period but I have pregnancy symptoms. I am a little afraid to take a test but wondered if anyone else had side effects from this pill.

Yes, this can be from the pill. When taking the pill (such as Lybrel or other brands where you skip the placebo pills) it can cause symptoms making one think they are pregnant. They call this pseudopregnancy (a fake pregnancy).
It can take time to adjust to being on medication like this. The time it takes is about 6 months because of the fact that one is not breaking for a period.
I would recommend talking to your doctor as well to see what they say.

Just have a proper diet rich in fiber and protein and try to cut all the unhealthy stuff from your diet atlhough its good to enjoy. Dont binge on unhealthy stuff any other time. You should also exercise 3-5 times a week and you should definitely see results in a couple of weeks. Learn more here:

Don't eat second helpings, leave off the sweets, and cut back on your carbohydrates. That is, leave off your potatoes and cut way back on bread. Get plenty of exercise. Try not to snack unless it is fruits and vegetables. Leave off your unhealthy snack especially at night before bedtime.
