No, not even if they murdered someone I knew. To teach someone killing is wrong by killing someone just doesn't make sense to me.

Live public executions were common in some countries up to the twentieth century, and still are in some parts of the world. Beyond the impression that justice is being served, it is also used to intimidate.
We have seen so much gory, glorified, glossed-up, picture perfect violence on tv, and in the movies, that I guess it might be sort of anticlimatic for modern audiences, except for the fact that it would be the real thing.
I wouldn't watch it either.

I've seen photos of someone as they were executed in an electric chair so I wouldn't watch that. I also wouldn't want to watch a hanging.
No, I wouldn't watch televised executions.

Yes. I think it's barbarous - but intellectually interesting. How dies one actually die ? Is it peaceful ? terrible ? fearful ? distastful ? terrifying ? imhamane ? . . . and so on.
How can you decide on the process and it's morality if you have no idea what it's like ? I think I already know, but some capital punishment advocates have changed their mind after witnessing such a thing.

No - yuck. You think you want to see that kind of stuff until you see death, then you wish you could get that out of your head. You do not want to become comfortable with death unless you are a coroner or mortitian. In any other capacity, it is known as being callous.

No! I don't believe in capital punishment and there's enough trash on TV already. Besides, I think someone's death should be a private thing.

I thoroughly enjoyed the execution of Saddam Hussein. People translated his cursing for me. It delighted me.

that's kind of a morbid question.
i wouldn't. i don't believe in punishment by death. it's uncivil. i can't believe we still do that! are we not smart enough as to come up with a better way to teach people right from wrong?
and besides, that is so illegal, i hate to say it, but it's punishable by death. (kidding)
