I think that it's the squishiness of the plastic popping it and the sound that it makes. Its addictive. Mainly because it seems like something we shouldn't be doing for whatever reason but we do it anyway cuz it's so fun and it only happens every now and then when we find it or get a package. It's not like anyone goes to the store to buy bubble wrap to pop.

Last week a co-worker got some office supplies in a small bubble wrap bag. She had the nerve to try and throw it away!!!
Of course, I snatched it away from her and spent a happy hour popping it. She thought I was crazy, but I think it was her loss!

I do, too, it's so fun, same with my momXD It's how squishy it feels, how it pops when burst, how it's one of those rare little treats we find every once in awhile, how you need to push it to pop it, and the amount of bubbles there are.

i do not recognize why human beings attempt this. yet its basically relaxing and that i nonetheless considered to attempt this. besides I were given a parcel this morning with some bubble wrap in it. humorous how i stumbled in this question.
