People that are in it for fame and fortune are far too short-sighted to actually see what they are doing and portray many things that other people take seriously. Sure rappers make a living doing that, but other people clearly don't make a living trying to look or act like them. This is just one example of how the media is actually taking over the influence of the people of the United States.
Another thing I can relate to this subject is how parents label it other people's responsibility to make safe and effective distractions for their children. That's simply called neglect because they want the children to be passed off to the entertainment they give them instead of using discipline and guidance as the best resources.
Now about the "sick" part. The real question should be, "why aren't there more people that can afford to be healthy?" I'm not talking about the stupid housing market now, I'm talking about insurance that you buy over the phone and given way too many options that you can ever hope to purchase separately. I read a cartoon one time and it portrayed someone walking out of an insurance company's office, tossing the 700 dollar premium behind him to the rep, while he said, "I can't afford this, I'm going to invest that money wisely in a cell phone!" The problem with this image is that people are putting their time and effort towards things that will eventually be a bad investment; buying what they want instead of waht they need.
People in general are stupid, and there is no reason why you, also a member of society, should feel sorry or step around them for their sake. Do what's best for yourself and hope for the best, because no amount of voting is EVER going to correct the problems the world is facing now, war for democracy or not.

i can only said what feel some time .no a lot of the time people hurt so badly and than feel good to hurt people than love them or have be there for them some people just do not known what than have to than lose it . sad but true eg; me now alone and heart broken but still here some good in everboby same were all the best.....
