EVERY female should wear make up! =)
I was allowed to start wearing a LITTLE bit at 12 because I was on a cheer/dance team and we performed in make-up! =)

I'm 22 and have seen a lot of girls wearing makeup and personally I think the prettier girls are all natural and makeup should only be used if it's to cover up something temporarily or dress up type of event. If you're 14 I doubt you would need it. You've made it this far without it so....... Try to find out why you really want to wear in making your decision. Is it because other people do it and you want to be like them or you think it would make you look better or feel better about yourself. If you can't justify a reason then......the answer should be clear.

My advice - nobody needs make-up unless they are covering up a skin condition. So if you don't have acne yet, don't start - make-up clogs up the pores and will cause spots! It also does long-term damage to your skin - much healthier to go without. I'm not saying it's bad to wear make-up every once in a while if you go to a party or something, but just not every day.
Also, has a lot to do with your parents. My mum never wears make-up so my sister (she's 16) doesn't either. She's unusual, as most of her friends wear make-up, but nobody makes a big thing about it. I'd say she's lucky.

Listen sweetie you are a young beautiful girl and you do not have to worry about makeup right now! I started wearing makeup when I was sixteen and cared how boys looked at me but you should wait besides that makeup clogs your pores and make you get pimples! wait as long as you can, you know if you start young by the time you are 40 you will have to wear it all the time because your skin tone changes when you wear it for a long time!

I only wear it for weddings and things like that. I started wearing it when I was 17 but only once in a great while. I like the way I look natural. Don't be a follower and do things because it's what others are doing. Obviously you were content with your looks without make up before so don't change who you are now.

I don't wear makeup and I'm older than you are. I think it's a personal preferance. But since you're asking for opinions, I think you should stay natural unless you really need it to cover flaws. All I wear is a Clinique tinted lip gloss.

I started wearing it when I was 14. Probably could have waited a couple more years. You will be wearing it until you hit the grave, so what's the rush? Just wear it when you feel like it. Your skin is young and beautiful--enjoy it!

all of us seems greater valuable with reliable makeup, it relatively is a certainty. i will pass to the shops and run errands in no makeup thankfully as I even have reliable epidermis, yet i think of with the nicely suited application all of us seems large with makeup, fairly for nights out. placed money into small products of sturdy high quality makeup, precedence being a commencing up, eyebrow pencil, powder and mascara, a small amout of blush and a impartial lip will continuously look organic and trouble-free, i think of it relatively is a self belief develop :)

ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You & all the others girls who do are farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr toooooooooooooooo young to be wearing make-up !!!!!! Boys and men classify girls and women in two groups only: NICE/CHEAP !!!!!!!!!!
aND WHEN THE SEE GIRLS WHO DRESS, TALK, WALK, WEAR MAKE-UP -- they THINK: CHEAP, EASY (to get in the sack, in their slang: an easy lay !!!!) ! Is that what you want? Do you think Oprah got where she is by being slutty & an Easy Lay???? NOT HARDLY !!! She got where she is by ignoring guys not being "in" with other girls (who are now big nothings) and by CONCENTRATING ON HER LIFE and WHAT SHE WANTED IT TO BE & you can too !!!!!
A light coat of mascara (not very noticable--natural looking, clear perhaps unless your lashes are lighter than your hair ) is all you should wear until you are 18 ! And then add a natural looking lip color and have your eyebrows waxed & colored is all you'll need then to look like a lovely NICE young woman !!!
All The Best -- Work on Your Future Like Oprah -- You Can Do It! You are SPECIAL !!!

It should all come down to what makes you feel comfortable. Get a few friends together and schedule a make up session...most are free...at a cosmetics counter. Tell the lady who works with you that you want a natural look, or have a photo in a magazine that has a look that you like....and work with her to create your version of that. I first started wearing make-up at about 14..just the basics....some of it has great skin protecting qualities. Don't overdo it...and make sure parents are supportive in the look you wish to have.
