Go to websites like Princetonreview.com and research schools in your area. Georgia Tech is very good.

Well personally Im prejudiced toward California around the Silicon Valley which can land you in some very interesting new territories in the computer fields.

But I have to ask. Are you sure that you want to make computers your lifes work? I did and sometimes I regret turning it into work. Plus, going thru the college courses for computers was so boring for me that I didnt bother to finish getting a degree. And with fewer and fewer mainframes in use its kindof hard to get a job with actually requires a computer degree so there is some stiff competition out there for jobs.

Consider this. If you have an interest in just about ANYTHING else then if you can tie that together with your computer knowledge you will move to the front of that line. If you have an interest in marketing, or finances, or medical, law enforcement, fire fighting, wildlife management, art, whatever.. then having that as a major and computers as a minor can head you toward jobs that have much fewer qualified applicants. Usually into some very interesting cutting-edge work in that field.
Just a thought.
