It would take a while, but I would eat the horse if I was starving, sure. They do eat horse and foal meat in Italy. I tried some there - the horse meat is tough and served like bacon bits, the foal is like veal - but tougher and highly seasoned due to the slightly stronger taste. I had had a little bit of it ground before, and it is just meat. We feel differently about horses in America, but they are just another farm animal in most of the world. Sorry 'Black Beauty' - if that ship wrecks, you better keep your distance! ;).

Hell No!! You can use the horse as a mean for travels lol I'd probably go horse-riding to the nearest gas station and steal all the food I can and ride off cause at least the horse dont have a licence plate lol

Horse meat is in dog food and also many countries do eat horses. We in America do not eat horses, generally speaking that is. If it was eat it or starve, I would eat most anything.

When time comes, we'll see....... well anyways an actual fact is that Tongans do eat horses so this question (in a way) is critising and disgrading their living style. I'm just saying that bcoz a Togan girl in my class gets offended by such coments.
Peace.

OH yeah, for sure. That hard part would be killing it though, I like horses. And since I don't know much about slaughtering animals, I'd probably cut open its stomach and find some flesh to cut out. Then I'd roast that over an open fire.

No, because chances are that horse had a name and I wouldn't eat something that had a name.

Horsemeat was a brief fad in my area in the mid-1970s. It's similar to beef in appearance and texture but with a gamier flavor. I would definitely eat it if it was the only meat to be had.

Do I know the horse? If so then no. Do I have to kill it? If so then no. Do you mean eat the WHOLE horse at once? If so no....
