when i try to play my games there is some scratchy sounds also now it started to open and close by itself. what should i do

It would probably be a good thing if you got the mice and roaches out of it. LOL!

Opens and closes by itself?! mine makes noises but thats it.
I would call microsoft, sounds like yours may need a repair.

call xbox. they will probably tell you to send it in and they will fix it for 150 bucks. my video card went out on mine and they said send it in and they will fix it. you could pray that you get the red ring of death and they will replace it for free. you could check on the forums and see if others are having the same problem. i have mostley only heard of rrod and video problems so far.
