I give thumbs up to people whose answers I like or agree with and I thumbs down answers who insult others, not just because I disagree with it.

I only give thumbs down to those who are rude and obnoxious in their answers. I've given them to people who agree with me.

Yeah, but I only thumbs up people who have a similar view to mine, I don't thumbs down people for having different opinions.

No. I don't generally tend to give either, although if someone is particularly stupid or offensive I'll happily give them a thumbs down, and if someone is very witty I'll give a thumbs up. But not just for having the same opinion as me.

I only give thumbs down to rudeness, stupidity, offensive, retarded answers but not to any because they disagree with me, I like different points of view, that's why we are here to get different points of view and different opinions!
