My friend uses this face a lot in conversation when we talk online and refuses to tell me exactly the meaning of it....

It either can be a "joking face"... such as :P...
or it can mean someone who's constipated >_<
there is no real meaning.. usually you use it after a funny joke.. or something stupid... like XD

i imagine apparently the picture of this style of face someone makes at the same time as they eat a lemon or a lime. Or, in different words, a `That afflicted me` form of face. possibly no longer offended, yet annoyed, or unpleasantly taken aback. I absolutely have, on social gathering, used >_> or <_< to teach that i'm rolling my eyes at an somewhat inane statement. i ought to imagine <.< and >.> are similar. And ^.^ or basically ^^ are chuffed faces.

it's just blinking or having your eyes closed...kinda like a smile but w/your eye closed.
