WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE: #1- a man that you had tied around your pinky, wanted to be with you all the time, was deeply in love with you, was at your beck and call, wouldn't cheat on you, was jealous, didn't have much of a backbone to stand his ground, but would do anything for you...... OR #2- a man who offerered you a challenge, loved you and treated you with respect, one that you wondered if he'd cheat on you or not, one who kept you on your toes who wasn't always predictable, and one who had his own life and occassionally wanted his own time to do things...

I'm not in limbo of what to currently pick.... i just find it interesting, as i have been in both of these situations. I'm still single and looking, but won't settle. I'd rather have #2. The cheating part-- i'm not saying that he would, but it's the challenge of the wonder. Probably sounds wierd... but if my man did cheat, he'd be out the door!

Man #1 will be a better husband. Exciting is fun for a while, but eventually wears on the relationship and if trust & respect aren't there you will end up regretting the union.

Neither
Guy number one has some good qualities, he is faithful, worships the ground his mate walks on, but he has no personal bounderies, and that is a sign that their is something much deeper going on with him.
Man #2-well, I like that he is respectful, but he sounds like he is a player to an extent, I like predictability, while I apprecitate him having his own life I don't want to wonder if he is cheating or not, I don't have time for all of that I am grown woman..
SO if they were my only choices I would choose to be single and free!

I would really want a mix of the 2. If I had to pick though, I would say man #1 b/c I wouldn't want to wonder whether or not #2 was going to cheat on me. I would want the man who I knew would be faithful. Trust is important.

Generally, you want a mixture of both of the above men. I wouldn't want someone that I would have to wonder whether or not they would cheat on me--that would be a deal breaker. As far as the first one goes, alot of times a relationship starts of that way but doesn't continue that way. I wouldn't want someone that was overly jealous, but a normal amount of jealously would be nice. I think you can be challenged in other areas of your life, relationships themselves are challenging in you are in it for the long haul.
Well, good luck in your search.

I would have to agree with Nicole, I would have to combine #1 with #2. Whose to say guy #1 would not cheat on you too? I honestly think that if you are truly in love and committed you would not cheat. You have to accept the fact that the not so perfect you would be able to find a not so perfect guy who would love you and respect you and be faithful.

Go with 2. You'd get sick of 1 after awhile. Besides, some of my best relationships have been with men who kept me on my toes and kept me waiting by the phone. And some of the best sex I ever had as well.

The correct answer is ........Neither.
Find one who loves you like the first one does but will stand up for what is right.
The first one's jealousy can turn psychotic manifesting itself violently.
The 2nd guy if you have to wonder if he would be faithful or not, then he is not the man for you because there is a reason for you to doubt his fidelity.
Any guy needs a little alone time, but not with other women.

Since this is an either/or question, I think I would definitely have to choose #1, but that backbone thing would probably be the breaking point if it came down to important things.
It's up to you.

I'd definitely pick #1. You'll be able to enjoy your relationship knowing your man is right at home with you not cheating.
