No, not really. I've never been comfortable "tooting" my own horn, however when I began my radio career, you kinda have to be "conceided" to get a job in a good city. Well, let's just say it took me a long time to get to NYC. Anyway, I never liked people who bragged about themselves because most of them turned out to be phonies.

Yes, I'll toot my own horn. One has to if one expects to get ahead in a competitive business. If I don't think my horn is worth tooting, why should I expect anyone else to think it is worth tooting.

NO i rarely (blow my own trumpet)
but you should at times (toot your own horn)
especially if you have something to be proud of
& yes im proud i quit the smokes!!!!

i wouldn't call it tooting my own horn. i just know exactly what i am and what i'm capable of. it's realism more than anything.
