I'm an Atheist, and have no prejudice for or against any religion in particular. I'm 1/4 Jewish, which is irrelevant to me. There are nearly 7 million Jewish Americans, which is more than the number of Jews in Israel. Most Jewish Americans are opposed to Zionism. They have anti-zionist organizations and websites. To say the Zionists accurately represent Jews is like saying Islamofascists represent Muslims. They don't. Most Jewish Americans and Israeli Jews want a separate Palestinian state created as soon as possible. PNAC does not represent most Jews!! They're zionists and evangelical Christians desperate to keep the Holy Land (LOL) out of the hands of the Muslims. It is truly as simple as that. I don't want a penny of my tax dollars wasted on this unconstitutional Crusade. I'm not anti- semitic. I'm anti-PNAC and anti-treason, since any American Congressman, President or Administration official who places the misguided interests of Israeli zionists before the interests of secular Americans is a traitor!

The only blind loyalty I have is to my wife and kids.

I am loyal to the US, in that I work, pay taxes and I am law-abiding.

However, I do not agree with the current policies of the present administration. I do not have blind loyalty to GW Bush.

I do believe that the Jewish people, especially those who had been displaced and traumatized by the events of WWII, needed a new place to reside in; a place they could feel safe, govern themselves and call home.

There were already many Jews in "Palestine" before WWII; the present location of Israel was ideal for the refugees from Germany, Poland, USSR, Hungary, et al to relocate to.

The only other option would have been earmarking part of Germany for the Jews; however, there were too many bad memories for the Jews at Germany.

Therefore, I fully support the right of Statehood of Israel; however, I do not blindly adhere to its policies, either.

In my final analysis, I agree that you are not necessarily an Anti-Semite if you do not blindly adhere to Israel's policies.

However, I disagree with your contention that Israel has an "undue influence" on US foreign policy in the Middle East; I believe the US and Israel have overlapping interests in their policies concerning the Middle East.

It's amazing that we can criticize Iran, Russia, France, Syria, Germany, China, Japan and not be labeled anything, but the moment you criticize Israel, you can get called an anti Semite! Thank God as people are becoming more politically informed, you're seeing more people discussing the "untouchables". We can actually finally begin to discuss this one taboo country, like we can any other country. This freedom to discuss is nothing but positive. It doesn't have to be hateful, it doesn't have to include racial prejudice. It's a civil discussion of political facts and there is nothing wrong with it, in fact this freedon to discuss is guaranteed by our constitution. As Americans we should exercise the freedom to discuss peacefully. Peaceful dialog is never a bad thing and we should never be afraid if we're being honest and truthful. Telling the truth is always the right thing to do, no matter who's trying to muffle it with the threat of hateful labels.

No I'm really not worried in the least. People attach labels to others on a daily basis.

I don't have any idea how much time I have left in this world. I have better things to do than worry what people think of me.

Thanks.

I am not either.

People in todays society worry too much about what other people think and what they are being labeled as. Instead, these people should do and say what they think is right. As long as I am standing up for what i believe in then there is no label anyone can give me that can put me down.

I'm not an anti-semite, but worry accomplishes nothing.

I think it's clear to anyone that reads your questions/answers, that you're quite "Anti-Semite" and not at all worried about it.

You're what I like to call an "Intolerant Leftist."

Sometimes, while I support Israel right to exist, I question how you could take away land from one people and give it another. I understand the Jewish people suffered unthinkable horrors in WW11, but two wrongs do not make a right. Now the deplorable behavior of the Palestine's does give it some balance, but it must be a bitter pill to shallow to see others living on your land
