Check the bulbs first, if that is not it you may have a loose connection in the switch or the light that is being moved around by the movement of the door or floor. I suggest getting it taken care of as soon as possible. Good luck.

This is common with light fixtures that are burning out. See it alot in fan lights. There are two rivets that make the connection between the wires and the shell. Look into the socket and see if there is some blackening around these rivets, if so time for a new fixture. If this isnt the case, shut the light off and take a plastic spoon or knife to pull the middle tab in the socket out a bit.
If this isnt the problem then check for loose connections in the box above the light and the light switch. Pull on the wires in the box above the light to make sure they are held by the wire nuts. On the switch make sure the screws are tight.
finally if you have a cheap bulb that is really flared out after the base it may not be getting deep enough into the socket. I have seen this with the cheep cheep bulbs in menards. the glass right after the base should slowly flare out like a sylvania bulb.

If it's only that one light, check to see if the bulb is screwed in tight. If it is and it's still doing that, then you may have a loose wire or something.
Now if most of your house lights blink or flicker all the time then it may be something with the wires outside your home. But if it's just that one light, then you may just need an electrician.

That there are no ghosts in your house! actually i don't know what to check first. Maybe you should check the type of bulb you're using or something like that. See if maybe it's burning out so when someone walks past it makes like pressure towards it and it flickers....i don't know. I'm coming up with random stuff.

Check your local newspapers and the local library archives for any sign that someone has been murdered or committed suicide in your house, especially in or near the bathroom. If so, stand outside of the bathroom and call that person's name really, really loud at night, with all over lights out. Try to lead the ghost toward your microwave, and shove it in there.
If that sounds too dangerous, trying consulting an old priest and a young priest.

You have a loose wire somewhere. Most likely place would be the screws on the switch have loosened. Turn off the power, remove the cover and switch and tigthen the screws holding the wires in place. Turn the power back on and check it. If it doesn't help you may have to replace the switch.

Either needs a new lightbulb or there is a short in the wiring. Check the Light bulb first. Probably it is not screwed in far enough.
