Any channel I find interesting. Say I turn it on MTV and a new episode of The Hills is on, but I have to sleep, I just put it on sleep (so it turns of automatically in a certain amount of time) and I listen and close me eyes, then I soon fall asleep. I do not recomend sleeping with the t.v on because if you wake up, it somehow just makes it that much harder to fall asleep

I ahve ADD, so I dont watch tv when I try to fall asleep. This works for me so I am sure it wouldwork even BETTER for someone without ADD:
Read a very very boring book, with the light off, using a small book light. The dark atmosphere activates your sleep cycle, as opposed to the tv lighting up the room. You need boring material to bore you, yet reading it keeps your mind from thinking so many "irrelevant" thoughts, keeping you more alert.

Mother Nature's channel. I hear frogs and crickets and night birds and so forth. I even heard coyotes yipping the other night and sometimes they even sing. This channel is so beautiful!!
