I have very little faith in the honesty of politicians or governments. I cautiously subscribe to Ronald Reagan's policy of "Trust, but verify".

It's true about Yahoo. If they delete your account, it still counts as active, so advertisers are duped into thinking there are more actual users.

Yahoo would really have to be blitzed to feel any pain. Remember, the hugest governmental scandals often blow over in a week. I thought for sure the extremely, extremely suspicious death of Vince Foster was going to put one of the Clintons in jail, but very little actually happened. Just like the latest trendy pop star, the interest just quickly evaporated.

The Village I used to live in was nothing more than an illegitimate, rogue, criminal organization. They could get away with anything they wanted because trying to force them to obey the law would eventually bankrupt you.

I now have a very jaded view of people's honesty. Put someone in a position of power, even some deadhead administrator from some pathetic podunk town, and you create a little mini monster, drunk on his "power".

That goes double for certain Admins on certain websites (which I will not name), who have the luxury of cowardly hiding behind the safe veil of anonymity.

How's that for being discreet? (...wink, wink)

I have faith that my politician may be fair now. However, if that person becomes President I think there are many people just waiting to "call in their marker" so to speak. Then there will come the time when the important people that helped will demand a payback. What a shame our government is so corrupt but not as biased and corrupt as the U.S. media.

president is the pinnacle of the state, the government imposing or government officer. vp assumes the region of the president if he or she dies, will become incapacitated, resigns or gets impeached/remote from place of work. additionally the vice-pres could simultaneously carry a cupboard place a senator proposes and legislates a regulation; in layman, he makes the regulation. additionally a congressman does what a senator do. the only distinction between them is that the senator is in the top abode and the congressman is in the decrease abode. a municipal mayor is the interior sight chief government officer of a city or municipality. he or she is under the supervision of the president.

No, I expect them to be just and to follow the law and the Constitution.
But what do fair (or not) politicians at what ever level have to do with the way Yahoo conducts business?
In any case the Bloger is incorrect... Add revenue depends on traffic on the site and adds clicked.... not on total membership
Not that I'm exactly defending Y!A... it actually would be in their best interest to police the Trolls... if Trolls violating users makes life suck to much users will quit coming here and thus traffic, and add revenue will decrease... not good business sense.

Remember we are still a free market and the left has not won and we will not let this happen. I also sent Yahoo a notice I am dropping their stock.

I expect them to but I definitely don't count on it.

I don't expect anything from Yahoo, because I think they ran out of integrity a while back ago and that business is probably going to be a sinking ship.

It has always amazed me that Yahoo has no problem suspending people left and right.

You have made some sense out of something that made no sense before. Thanks Earnest for enlightening me this evening.

I demand that they do, but it doesn't work on one of them. No it doesn't surprise me. I think we should all switch to Gmail and ask them to set up a new website for us.

A bit exaggerated, but yes they could be getting more accounts. As many as to impress advertisers? No.

Interesting website however why does she portray herself on a broom? It's a bit strange.
