My brother was painting under our deck and was using Olympia Oil Based paint, to protect it. It dripped onto the cement and we cant get it off. We've tried Mineral Spirits and it only got the fresh paint off. Is there any way to get it off without ruining the cement further?

We tried Goof Off. We bought it for an earlier event with latex paint. It did not work either.

Depending on the surroundings (plants, grass, shrubs ect.) you can use Muratic Acid, but depending upon amount of paint, and how far into the concrete it seeped, may not remove all of it. Muratic is used in etching concrete, and will remove a slight layer off the concrete, you will also want to buy a good sturdy deck brush and flush with plenty of water afterwards.

Any good paint remover. Spread plastic over it and let it soak covered as directed. Should be easy to scrape off after that. Best of luck!
