am trying ways to clean my gas stove amn it seems that everytime i clean it the flame light goes out

Maybe you are using too much water. Try wringing out the rag until nearly dry and then wiping things down. I have never had that problem. If the flame is not blue but orange, it may be that there is an excess of dust in there and so the combustion process is not working properly. That needs to be fixed by a professional so they can blow out the lines as well.

So the light goes, it takes 2 seconds to relight it. So let it go out, clean the stove and then relight it.

You should be turning off the gas when you clean it anyhow.

ITS NOT A ISSUE IF IT GOES OUT FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES BUT I SUGGEST CLOROX OR AJAX W/BLEACH IT SEEMS TO WORK BEST AND CUTS GREASE WELL ---PS DONT 4GET RELIGHT YOUR PILOT LITE.:-}
