it seems like you should start out taking some science classes in biology - seems like being a doctor (pediatrician?) or a vet would be a good plan for you, if the classes are still interesting. Many colleges have career counselors who are good at helping you figure out what you like, and who have the resources to set you up with internships or shadowing opportunities. Get to know people in the jobs you might want and find out what they do from day to day, decide if that life sounds appealing to you.
Be sure to pick something you like - no amount of money is worth a miserable job.

Well one with a Biology/Chemistry background that meets Pre Med qualifications. That way you can go in various directions. You can probably go to pharmacy school, go for more studies in chemistry or biology go into medicine, possibly even in marine biology or venternary.
With JUST a BS in Chemistry you can start out at $25K a year working in a lab or a company and makeup to $50K after you gain experience, you just can't ever be the boss or supervise without an MS or PHD

I would make up a list of pros and cons for each subject matter. Don't forget to include at what level of comfort you want to live your life. Have kids? Free time.. etc... Look into stress factors, money, time, etc... There are plenty of books and information on careers in any given type of field. Have fun!

I reccomend checking what you are good at in high school for a start. Check with student conselors and colleages for some creative thinking. Afterward, have a minor to fall back upon.

Biology, Veterinary Studies, or Medical School are probably your best 3 routes.
Talk to your academic advisor when you get there too (when you enroll, you'll get one and it'll be someone within your general field of study).

You gotta do what you love. Take college courses for each subject and find out what interests you most, perhaps what's easiest to you (that could be a result of your interest level, don't think of it as slacking off).

Someone gave me this advice, and I think it's very good: What, on your death bed, would you most regret NOT doing if you DIDN'T choose it?
You are the only one who can answer that question. Good luck!!
