Super Mario Galaxy is the big title of 2007, if you ask for any game, ask for this one.
Or if platformers aren't your style, try some of the other options.
Super Paper Mario (RPG/Platformer hybrid)
Resident Evil 4 (A fantastic shooter at a discount price)
Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (A great minigame collection, like Wii Sports mixed with Olympic events)
Metroid Prime 3 (The First Person Shooter/Adventure game that's a must-have for any hardcore gamer.)

There are alot of good games that's out and coming out. Go for Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. I'm getting the game when it comes out in a couple days. :)
