Yes I was, and I am ashamed to say I was the cause. You see it was a sweltering hot August night, we were served hard boiled eggs at breakfast, cabbage for lunch and burritos at supper time. As I lay in my bunk that evening my insides began to rumble with a horrendous noise rivaled only by that of a sinking submarine. There were nine fatalities, eight men took their own lives and my cell mate never stood a chance. I was placed in protective custody for the remainder of my sentence and placed on a strict rice cake diet.
