From what you asked, I find that you must be a very smart man/women. Myspace is a way for teens, and contact with old and new friends. Itcan be dangerous, but many use it anyways. There isn't really a point to use myspace, but just for hte joy that people need, people use it. Very great question!

A few.....I'm 49 and have been able to connect with old schoolfriends. I even have a friend on there from when I was 5 years old!! HERE'S ANOTHER ONE....my baby -- he's in Corpsman school and I can contact him easily on there too -- oh and my grandbabies mommies who are on all the time about the kids, etc. Granted, I have been hacked BIG TIME but it's been a WONDERFUL TOOL FOR ME -- plus it's fun......even with people I talk to more often in real life.

Let me tell you why i have a myspace.
-I forget about homework all the time, and i hate calling people.
-It's time consuming and i have a lot of time.
-I'm a computer geek, so i like doing different things to my page all the time.
-It's funny to see how people argue through comments.
-Helps to keep in touch with people you don't see as often.
-It's just another website everyone joins because a lot of people have it.
It doesn't have to help your life. It's just something to do.

Ha! I agree. My 20 year old LOVES it so I guess to answer your question, the only thing it does is keep him out of my kitchen so I can make dinner without him hovering!

It helped me discover that the most valuable thing I could do on that site was delete my account to stop the constant boredom and protect myself from future conflicts and consequences.
