how about just by looking at their writing

about 12% people in the world are left handed.it is difficult to generalize the writing of such a small group.there can be and will be ways of thinking like may be slanting or curvy writings but they will be pure predictions which hold 50-50 chance.
good thing,ask them and if not just see how they write!!

I can often tell by watching them and how they move. People will usually reach out for something with the hand they favor. Another way I can tell is how they carry objects. They typically will load the non-dominant side with the objects so they keep the dominant hand free. As for handwriting, the only way I can tell for sure is how the writing is angled or where it is placed. I remember impressing a relative years ago when I looked at a painting she had and concluded the artist was left-handed. The signature was at an angle that is really awkward for a right-hander and it was placed on the lower left hand corner of the painting.

well you cant but they are smarter im a leftie my brother is a leftie our handwriting is completly different
