I can't give you much without pictures other than the following advice:

1 - Take your bill to a local coin dealer (trustworthy ones can be found - shop around). It never hurts to get a second opinion. They will be able to tell you so much more by evaluation the condition of the bill. They will also know the amount printed and what it is going for in today's market.

2 - Try posting pictures on this website (there are many experts here that can help you evaluate it - there also may be people willing to buy if you are trying to sell):

3 - Repost this question and include pictures. You can use websites like http://www.photobucket.com and include the link in your question.

Good luck!

Your note is from the Mexican Revolutionary period bank in the days of Poncho Villa. It was printed by the American Bank Note Company which back then printed money for lots of countries. It is in a very low low grade and they usually don't sell for much anyway. I have seen them for sale in the numismatic publications for as low as $2 and up to $10 or so. I have a couple of catalogs on the coins from that time but not the paper money. I don't see any ads in this months Bank Note reporter on this type of note, so put into google Mexican Revolutionary Notes and see what you get.
