Ok, Monday on Veteran's day I don't want to just be like"yay im out of school, party!!" I want to try and do something good for our veterans....to thank them for risking their lives so we could have freedom. But I don't really know what I should do. Any Ideas? I can't spend a ton of money or gas.

The best thing you can do is spend time with a vet and listen to them. This shows genuine appreciation for not only their sacrifice, but appreceiation of them as a person.

Check with your local Veterans' Organizations and see if there are any events planned (or if they are needing volunteers for Veteran Activities -- including placing flags on the gravesites of local Veterans). That is something they would be willing to have help with .. and even if it is a prayer service ... it would also be an opportunity for you to do something so simple (and yet so hard for many people) -- which is to THANK a Veteran for their VOLUNTARY SERVICE to ensure that this country is Defended and stays FREE.
