Let's remind ourselves that this is the same team that humilated Arizona State (7-5 at that time) at its Bowl game. Coming back to this year, ASU is 9-1, and Hawaii is 8-0 (will be 9-0 after tonight's game). But while ASU is ranked in the top 10, Hawaii is only 14. I think it's pretty obvious that as much as ASU got better, so did Hawaii. When Kansas loses later tonight, Hawaii will be the only undefeated team in the country. But for now, I don't think they'll even be ranked in the top 10.

hawaii is a joke.....because their conference is a joke

they shouldn't be under/over 'rated' at all.. no one knows how good this team is, so they are having to guess. their ranking is just a guess and we will have no idea about them until they play a bowl game. the boise st game will help if they win, but it's still hard to figure out where where hawaii is compared to the other ranked teams b/c...

Hawaii has played ONE TEAM WITH A WINNING RECORD ALL YEAR.. that was 6-4 fresno st. and they only won that one by 7...

3 of the 9 teams on their schedule have 2 wins BETWEEN THE THREE OF THEM. their opponents W-L record is 27-65!!!!

i hate the people that say hawaii would get blown out by big name programs. There team is for real and there offensive is one of the best in the nation. I praying the hawaii goes undefeated and plays in a bcs game. If they can pull it off and win the bcs game and PROMISE you i will shove it in all of the hawaii haters! Hawaii is undefeated PERIOD! Though there schedule may be weak, they still get the job done and quite frankly its been something that has been difficult to do this year. Teams are getting upset left and right but somehow hawaii finds ways of winning and keeping there bcs hopes alive. Myself and hawaii fans can only hope we make it to the bcs and SHUT UP all the critics!!!!

first off, last year doesn't count

second off, kansas is not going to lose tonight

now, i will say that i think hawaii is sort of stereotyped by a lot of people because they have not played a very good schedule, and because of this they feel that when they are tested they will just get eaten alive...people don't realize how good this team really is, colt brennan has been banged up with injuries and has been throwing a lot of interceptions of late, he's clearly not in top form and yet this team continues to find ways to not just win, but to dominate...sure they have struggled at times against teams they should put away easily, but every team has those every once in a while...i think that they will be more difficult for boise state and washington to beat than people think as brennan gets closer to being 100%

lol...Everyone is always against teams they dont know. The Rainbows have a great team, a great offence. To think they can be stopped by other top 25 teams is obsurd.
Just give the team a break. Everyone hates their system offence. lol..only because their coach cant figure out how to run it. I guess unless you run the ball right up the middle your not a real team? Take a peak at top 10 please. Kansas-Missouri-Oregon run a scheme close to Hawaii's.

We can take most of the Big Ten and the Pac 10. The SEC is underrated. In my opinion, half of that conference should be in the top ten.

Strength of schedule. Arizona State plays in the second toughest conference in the country, Hawaii plays in one where most of the teams couldn't beat Williams College.

I've seen Hawaii play this season. If you had seen them play, you wouldn't have asked this question. They are overrated if anything.
