I live in Utah and a friend lives in Tennessee, I need to create an account for my friend to deposit money into. Which bank would have a branch in both states?

Yes, they are depositing CASH. I'm trying to avoid having to have my friend mail me a money order, thus the whole reason for my question!

Unless your friend is depositing CASH, they don't need to be anywhere near a branch. ANY bank will accept deposits by mail. Look in your local phone book for banks with offices near you. Then check your friends phone book for branches of the same banks. BOTH phone books are available on-line. Just search for 'phone book'.

I think Bank of America is in all fifty states. Check their website.

in this day of internet banking you can transfer money from any bank account to any other bank account if both banks have internet banking -- talk to the manager of your bank and they will fill you in!!!
