Yes. It's sometimes called saying Grace and many ppl pray before each meal. At Thanksgiving, the person saying grace (aloud) will thank God for blessings they had this past year, the family getting together, etc. The prayer can be said in old English (or any language) but more and more ppl just pray in modern English.

We do make a big deal out of saying grace before our TG meal. We also have a lot of children in our family (ranging from the ages of 12 - 5) and we go around the table and ask them what they are each thankful for. We get some very cute answers!! (Especially if we make the younger ones go first!!!)

No but I talk to GOD (pray) a little every day. Mostly thanking him for all of the blessings I see in my life.

We do not pray, but we go around the table and each say something that they are especially thankful for.
