My personal feeling is that no website will be able to tell you everything you need to know, but here are two that cover quite a bit of information:
http://www.peteducation.com/index.cfm?cls=16
http://www.wetwebmedia.com/

I would also suggest that you get a good reference book to go along with the websites. When I first started keeping marine tanks, I found both of the following to be helpful, although the second goes a little more into the types of fish. The first concentrates more on setup, and provides a lot of information in convenient "checklist" formats and suggests some stocking plans based on tank size and fish activity level and personality, so you can choose based on your own interests. I'd also recommend a good reference book for some research. Either one of these would be a good one to start with, and contains enough information to get your aquarium up and running: The New Marine Aquarium by Michael S. Paletta. Microcosm Ltd. ISBN 1-890087-52-1 or The Conscientious Marine Aquarist by Robert M. Fenner. Microcosm Ltd. ISBN 1-890087-02-5

For my own advice on what equipment and fish you should consider, you can also read my answer to another question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070902174516AAYNU17&r=w&pa=FZptHWf.BGRX3OFMiTxSWML46AMgPbpZFHXVhtakNbG3Q_CfyzIwbpY_pqGAAPUzwCiKkiJCZRyAdvNQFw--&paid=answered#TJEvXWHuVjiPdq_vEnO4CFUNkgbZREnlEBpUnTPHpU57jJZ.gPoZ
