I bought a baby corn snake (12 inch) about two weeks ago.
His color was bright red and white.
Now his color is like dull looking.
I'm not sure if hes shedding or not because his eyes didn't turn a milky blue color. Any advise would help. Thanks.

not to worry.. its just in the beginning of a shed cycle.. soon its eyes will change... most important!! make sure the humidity is high for it to shed properly

Yes, he's getting ready to shed. If he has red eyes, it is difficult to see the "blue" phase of shedding. Not to worry. Check out an excellent forum:

The eyes only turn milky looking a day or so before the molt, but,the rest of the snake gets duller before that...

Any snakes colors will dull when they are entering into a growth spurt.

Don't worry. be happy. Your snake, as the others said, is shedding.
