Okay, more than likely, Ohio St. is out of the NC picture, now if Kansas wins tonight, and if you read this later on Saturday, or anytime after Saturday, and they HAVE won, shouldn't Kansas be number one now? They are in the Big 12, and they have had some excellent wins. I'm not a big Kansas fan, but I do believe that they are getting cheated right now and being undefeated and at number five in the nation in the last polls, who agrees with me that they should be moved up to the NC picture and at number one or two in the nation?

Oh, those of you who don't know, yes Ohio St. lost, 28-21, Illinois. Thought I might mention that before you chew me out for something you don't know yet lol.

Please hold the presses. Yeah Ohio St. got beat. Yeah By the Illini. While the rest of tard nation looks for any impact this has. It has this impact,Illinois was beaten by only one top 10 team (current top 10),yeah you guessed it right the same Mizzou team that has one important game left on Nov. 24th with the aboved mentioned cheated but should be #1 team (Kansas). Hmmm. And too think i never see that Mizzou team mentioned in any BCS Title game hype. But look again at its schedule, you will see that one more impact game remains with Ole'Miss vs LSU and if LSU stubbles or loses. And Missouri beats Kansas and wins Big 12 championship game. Who is #1
Now before everyone freaks... The strength of schedule B.S. is tied in with the rankings. Its easy to keep strength of schedule up when the conference gets so many teams ranked without merit. There are 2 SEC teams now ranked that have 4 loses. Give me a break and entire conference piggy backed into top 25 cause of 1 yes i said 1 teams strength of schedule? And not, this is prior to Fla. getting beat by S.C. tonight.

Kansas has the exact same problem that OSU has; you have to play top competition to be at the top. Most people understand this with the exception of people like Deactivated Whinybaby.
It should be LSU-Oregon in the NC game, and will be an excellent game; both quality teams that have played top rated competition week in and week out and won. And the reason there are 4 loss SEC teams in the top 25 is because their losses have been to higher top 15 teams.
Doesn't take a rocket scientist to get it.

NOPE Kansas shouldn't be #1. Kansas has played the 85th hardest schedule, while LSU has played the 13th hardest schedule, and Oregon has played the 3rd hardest. You have to do a little more than beat up on a sorry Nebraska team that has a lame duck head coach.
Kansas hasn't earned anything. They started the season unranked for a reason, and you'll see that eventually.
If they win out they should be #2, but they haven't beaten anyone yet. They certainly haven't played anyone the caliber of Oregon or LSU.

The same mark against Ohio State goes against Kansas as well. Their strength-of-schedule is horrid, unless you think Central Michigan, Southeast Louisiana, Toledo, Florida International, Kansas State, Baylor, Colorado, Texas A&M, and Nebraska is a great slate.
I think Hawaii might have actually played a tougher schedule this year.

No, LSU should be #1. LSU, Oregon, and Oklahoma deserve to be ahead of them based on strength of schedule. There is a case for WVU as well. Just because you (Kansas) play pansies and go undefeated doesn't make you worthy of being #1 as shown today with Ohio State. They were #1 based on their name and rich tradition, not merit.
Carl N - That would make Oregon #1 then, sorry.

I have to agree with Coonass George.
Also, Tubs apparently doesn't keep up with top college football. Mississippi State has a tough defense and a solid running game. They don't have the wideouts, and their QB's weren't big threats even when they had healthy ones, but that punishing style can hardly be called pansy.

Kansas will not make it to the NC.
Remember....I told everyone that OSU would lose.
Kansas is not NC material.
To "tubs"........that Mississippi State team beat Kentucky and Auburn. What has your pansie *** team did?

I'm very glad OSU lost, and Kentucky isnt getting cheated b/c the teams in front of them like LSU and Oregon are better teams than Ken. , simple as that.

i think they should be #1 if they win, but they won't be because that's now how things work...i would expect unless somehow lsu loses to louisiana tech that kansas will be third if they win, on the outside looking in
