I liked watching those TV shows about pioneer life where they took 3 or 4 families and set them up on a farmstead in North Dakota with no modern conveniences and they had to live a pioneer life for several months. Was pretty interesting to see how different pioneer life was compared to our modern world. Lots and lots of hard work but some simple pleasures also. Lack of modern plumbing is a pain and the isolation, lack of supplies. I think some people in those situations come up with some pretty ingenious solutions to problems if they want to survive. Every once in a while, I'll ask my mom what life was like growing up on a farm in the 1920's and 30's. One could always go to some remote spot on earth and get the same effect. Or live with the Amish for a while---no disrespect.

Ya I've always wanted to know what really happened with the first explorers and all that kind of stuff. I think it would be cool to find out what is it like during the witch trials and wars and things. History is very interesting to me so I am curious like you to know what it was like. :P

I wish I was a movie star somewhere in between the 1930s - 1960s. That would've been great...except the studio system basically ran your life. I would've made it work, though.

Yeah I did.

Then I realized I have no clue where I would've been because my mom is white. My dad is half Native American and Half Hispanic.
