Replace it with "Pub Karaoke", we wouldn't really notice any difference.

They really don't seem interested in developing the artists personalities or individual vocal styles.
Surely this is what the X Factor is?
After a few weeks all the artist begin to sound like every one else. You just long to hear a distinctive vocal style.
Unless they are like Rhydian, with a well established vocal technique, they just get moulded into another run of the mill pop act.
There is absolutley no real interest in the music itself.
I was watching Shane last night. He gave a very polished and competent performance, which was completely forgetable.

I honestly don't think it is redeemable Bex. The whole show has be cr*p this year and the contestants, apart from Rhydian, Beverley and Niki just should not have been chosen in the first place. The standard is very low. Coupled with what I have said before that Danni Minogue, the fourth category and lowering the age have all contributed to the poor quality.

Bex hate to tell you this but next week is going to be worst it is DISCO!!!
I think they should have a wild card show and bring back some of the ones who never got a chance to appear that were good or even ones booted off!
To make next week better they need RTV peeps to go in and sort them out.
Bex your role Mrs O you would be more compasionate
Gartom your role think you would be good in props and scenery costume
Bad well only one role Simon pml
Bluebell you role Louis you would give better songs to your gals
Whipass role Danni she can tell it as it is much better and would not suck up to Simon
Kimmy well you can be Dermot
SueH would be a good fern Cotton get down to the nitty gritty and all the back ground dirt!
There sorted my role cleaning the floor after lol

I think they can give the contestants better songs that suit them better! It would make the show a lot more enjoyable for the view and of course the singer! Songs with a little more rythym and beat would brighten up the show!

I agree with Mrs G send us in!
We can choose the songs, help them with the dances............... you should see me getting down to the chicken song I could show them a move or two! Lmfao.
Then when the good contestants are in the bottom two we can stick two fingers up to the public, blow them a raspberry and say NO you're wrong and with one swift chop of the axe get rid of Hope and Same Difference!
Do you think they'll let us?

Next week they should factor in the X factor or failing that they could start considering juxtaposing the Y factor by way of a difference for the sake of it factor.

I think hey should let the public decide out of who was sent out which 1 should be able to go back in,and then another vote to decide which act still in the competition should be voted out.

sorry if it sounds mean ~ but it's all a bit boring now...
on a serious note ~ i agree with nanny chris, the judges shouldn't be able to vote for their own acts in the sing off...
