Only tell if something has changed, such that your secret now threatens to cause some kind of harm to your relationship. If nothing has changed, and there is now no greater chance of your secret coming to light without you revealing it than there ever was, there's no reason to tell it now.

It depends on the reason you hid it, if you hid it to protect them or stop them from being hurt then don't reveal it now.

I'm sure what ever it was that caused you to hide it, you had a good reason at the time, so unless something has changed that requires the need for that information now, like it may save someones life then I would not reveal it.

First of all if you were hiding something form a person for a long time why do you want to come clean right now. you should have told them this a long time ago somethings will change it depends on how the person takes it.

best of luck

If this is something that stands a chance of popping up in the future, yes - you should tell it now and get it over-with. BUT, if there is no chance that this thing will ever show up to bite you in the **** then I would leave well enough alone and not say anything. Ignorance is bliss!

Well in my opinion i would say- if it is something that really bothers you and you think about it alot- the best thing to do is tell them. When you let it off ur chest you'll feel so much better.

Remember, being honest is the best policy, but sometimes you will suffer the consequences.

If you think this person will not forgive you, and you have learned your lesson or it will never be brought up again, its best to keep it to yourself and learn from your mistakes...

A guilty conscience will always be there, but do whats best for your situation......

More information needed. What was it that you hid?

If you cheated on them, and you are not doing it now, don't tell them. Why hurt them only to relieve your guilty conscience? Just stop doing it.
