I go by Exodus 21:22. It's pretty plain about when life starts.

Perhaps dems like to deny science, or at least the bits that it wants to deny. Do they still believe the Earth is flat?

To deny the fact that fetuses are alive denies understanding of human biology. (by definition: a fetus is the unborn in the later stages of development showing the main recognizable features of the mature animal/human. Human life is human life no matter whether the fetus has had that chance to pop its head out into the world. To end a human life is homicide in the strict sense. Certain types of homicide have been made legal, and therefore some will absolve themselves of moral responsibility by hiding behind the legal permission to end life. Just because the law allows homicide in certain circumstances does not remove the fact of the occurance of a homicide. The social acceptability of that homicide is nevertheless influenced by the legal status afforded by our politicians to the vunerable child that cannot defend itself.

On the subject of global warming: The wise move is to consider both sides of the argument on global warming, and make your own considered decision. Too many people are happy to believe what others want us to believe. This applies to many topics of hot debate, global warming is no different.

Here in the UK we constantly receive the message that global warming is the consequence of human activity. The public are pressurised with high taxes on petrol and congestion charges to reduce car travel, despite poor investment in public transport, whilst the politicians continue to drive around in their flash cars. Global warming is obviously the fault of the masses and not the fault of the masters!

There are scientific views that support global warming as being significantly caused by human activity, and there are scientific views that argue differently. It is a fallacy that a majority of eminent scientists support the government view of global warming. It is true that a majority of scientists funded by the government support the government view. I wonder why. ... those that support the government view continue to get funding. Those that do not support the view are not funded.

Furthermore, if Nations such as the UK can place moral pressure on developing nations to replace carbon emitting power stations, we can sell them Nuclear, because we have the technology and they do not.

I question why:
Mars, Pluto, Jupiter and other planets in our solar system are heating up
I speculate upon the effect of NASA sending a 4x4 to Mars. Did this contribute to Martian global warming? ... but I’ve never heard of a Plutian driving a Chelsea tractor (making all the p-lutian!)
Computer models indicate that surface air temperatures on the Red Planet increased by 0.65 C (1.17 F) from the 1970s to the 1990s. By comparison, the average temperature of Earth increased by 0.75 C (1.33 F) over the last century.
Some scientists speculate that a change in the sun’s activity is the common thread linking all these warming events across the whole solar system.

Well part of the answer lies in your question...."ignoring the scientists data"....key part being ignoring......I suppose you all have made ignoring an art form, since you do so well.....Bush ignores any warnings of attack, warnings to invade Iraq, that it will become too unstable to maintain....ignoring Hurricane Katrina....Ignoring prosecution of those who "outted" the CIA agent...Valerie.....uummm there are so many more ... that you should just read the book when it comes out...

As to the other question, what does that have to do with scientist data....I don't remember any scientific data ever really "pin-pointing" when a fetus is considered alive.....that was something the supreme court decided... so what the hell dude.....It's common sense....if you have that....so here is a question for you....When would you think a fetus is able to survive outside the womb???

Because they only believe what their supreme leaders tell them is true. Right now their supreme leaders want to make some money off of global warming and so get all emotional about it to try to make their desperate followers think they are authentic. Reminds me of an old time, tent religious revival. It gets 'em all upset, nearly crying and ready to be "saved". The scientists could change their minds about it and they'd never even pay that any attention. Watch one of those healers on TV and see if you can tell any difference in them and the Democrats on C-Span. They are a riot.

Or, needless to say, that no-one definitely is conscious of the cost of previous warming cycles over a era as short as what all this doom and gloom fowl little theories are being based on. much less any concept with regard to the reason.. the situation is that the "technology" helping human led to international warming is plenty much less credible than that against it. So possibly in the previous we wreck the international monetary equipment and kill untold tens of millions of persons interior the approach.. we could desire to p.c. to definitely get some credible, extra finished records. The democrats don't ignore data on fetuses. The belief that an erly-term fetus is a person is a religious belief--and tha tis all it is. Those who hold that belief are entitled to it. They ARE NOT entitled to impose that belief on those who don't share it.

And incidentally--it is NOT a Christian belief--there is nothing in the Bible to support it. Further, Christian tradition is that the soul does not enter the fetus until "quickening"--the end of the first trimester. The notion that a fetus is a person from the moment of conception is an invention of some 19th century fundamentalists. And that's all it is.

Sure the group of cells that is an embryo is alive but then so are the skin cells on the inside of your cheek. That doesn't mean they are a viable human life. Don't let some hypocritical religious upbringing cloud your mind with the facts.

No one ever said that fetuses are not alive. Of course they are, the same as any other cell in your body. They're just not human beings yet.

Actually, if you believe in dramatic man-made global warming, you are ignoring all of the recent data.

Only a fool thinks fetuses aren't live human beings. They don't deserve special rights, just human rights like the rest of us. Masses of cells don't suck their thumb and kick and smile. Ignoring the killing of a human being was convenient in 1945 Germany too.

Because.

Republicans get funding from Oil Companies and Pro-life Groups

And Democrats get funding from environmentalists and pro-choice groups.

Special interests control the platforms of each party.
