cause somone from star wars came to earth and then went back to the galaxy far far away and then everyone in that galaxy far far away started speaking english cuz it was better than there other language lol

Well, if it helps the english language is called Basic in the Star Wars Galaxy. If Star Wars was real it could be considered merely coincidence or that either we or the humans there originated here or there. However we must remembr that essentially (and unfortunately) it is just a movie and who would watch a movie in a completely made up language that they couldn't understand?

Remember the Simpsons when the aliens landed? Someone asked them how they spoke English and the aliens said it was just a coincidence that our languages were similar.
Their is a fandom theory that time travelers got stranded in the Star Wars galaxy and that's why they have humans and English. An author even had an unpublished book which would've made this canon.

That's like asking why are american movie s about Nazi's were in english. Now, on another level, STAR WARS, the best movie series of all time, is based on something that would be based on a language that is probably Lightyears away from anything close to being sensible. So they didnt subtitle starwarsian and put it in theaters, they wrote the scripts in english.
