If they win their remaning games by a good comfortable margin (umm lets say at least by 10 points)...can this team play in the national championship game?

what if the teams ahead of them that have 2 loses lose?

USC has to face California tonight

and then 9 ranked Arizona state

and then UCLA next week that always gives them a hard time and might beat 9 ranked Arizona state today

3 tough opponents next 3 games for USC...what if they beat all 3 by a comfortable margin and Oregon and boston college and ohio state get complacent, what happens then??

Anything can happen, but the probability of USC playing for a championship are preeeeettty low.

Maybe if France takes back the Louisiana purchase, there is a series of football programs surprisingly disbanding, and fundamental rules of the universe take a siesta USC would possibly have a shot... maybe.

It's possible, but not very likely. USC will need to blow out Cal today, win the rest of their games, and most of the top 10 teams will have to lose another game.

It won't happen this year, or maybe not for the next few years after the ncaa comes down on them.

No, not with the two losses. Too many teams inbetween them and the title who only have one loss.
