The two are very similar. On one hand, if you love someone and they do something to betray your trust, its very hard to continue loving them. I have been hurt a lot in my past so i find it very hard to trust people, they have to really earn it. Love is more of a way you feel as opposed to something you earn. You love a person for who they are, what they are about, and how they make you feel. You trust someone based on how they react to things, and their ability to do right by you. You can love someone before they earn your trust but you can't continue to love someone if there is no trust. the bottom line is that you for things to work, you need both. In my experience love generally comes first...

To me.. it love then trust. You NEED to love someone to trust them in a relationship.
I mean friends are about trust but when your bf and gf, to me its love then trust however trust is important, that's how relationships work but without love what is the relationship? nothing basically.. its a friendship.

I would have to say yes. When it comes to romantic relationships, or even friendships, that you indeed have to trust them in order to come to love them. I believe that it is the foundation of all lasting relationships. When a person has proven to you that their loyalty and their person as a whole is constant, and they have shown youthat you can confide in them, and believe that they will tell you the truth, no matter the situation, that only then can you come to move on to feelings of love.

yes trust is before love because before you can fall inlove with someone you will have to trust them just to make sure they won't hurt you.

in some cases yes, but not always, what about love at first sight? what about babies? I think that love and trust go hand in hand.
