The 50s saw a lot of changes musically. The beginning was crooners and big bands, then in 1955 rock and roll changed everything. Would he like stuff right across the board? Lots of info about rock and roll, but some of the earlier artistes include people like Frankie Lane, Dickie Valentine, Ruby Murray, Frankie Vaughn, Marty Robbins, Kay Starr, and people of that ilk.

Which kind of music does he prefer? While there was Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, and Chuck Berry, there was also Pat Boone, Guy Mitchell, Perry Como, Patti Page, Theresa Brewer, Andy Williams, and Dean Martin.

Any by the King,ELVIS. For a female, Shirley Bassey, but there were too many to mention here. I particularly loved Nancy Whiskey's Freight Train, backed by the Chas McDevitt Skiffle Group.

You've got the places to look from other people. But one of my favorites is Johnny Burnette and the Rocabilly Trio.
Check out Lonesome Train and Drinkin' Wine Spo de odee.
No cooler than that.
