I have just found a sort of insect on my sister's floor on a peice of food that i have found in my bed before but im sure its not a bed bug. It is hairy and shaped a bit like a bed bug and has small legs like a woodlouse. It is not at all big...about the size of a louse. It is dark brown with a little bit of white on the end...If there are any suggestions to what this is..please answer!!

It is probably a flea. Bed bugs don't come out when there is movement going on. They only come out at night when you sleep and they inject a numbing agent into your skin so you won't feel the bite. Also they like to hide in dark secluded areas. Check your dog for fleas. If it is fleas that are biting you then your dog will have the same bugs on his skin. Give your dog a flea bath and vacuum your room and mattress. If fleas are in your carpet you will need to get some flea powder made for carpet to kill them.

I'll give you the same answer for the flea.
1. They don't eat food.
2. You can't miss them for the size of their rear legs. They are half the size of the body. Set it down of the floor, it it doesn't jump its not a flea.

I dunno if it's a flea or not, but I'm pretty sure it's not a bed bug.

If you had bed bugs, it'd be obvious. They'd be everywhere. Bed bugs aren't the kind of thing that you would only see one every once in a while, they are extremely quick spreading, and would typically be hiding under your bed, or between your matress and box spring..

bed bugs suck.

they really, really suck.
