I'm very curious to hear from people who believe Marijuana should be against the law and, more importantly....why?
If you have stats to back up your opinion, even better.

Sasha, my intent wasn't to get other people to do my research. Rather just the opposite, if you did the research you may actually learn something instead of sucking all your information from big mommy government ****.
As far as some other the other comments.
First, if someone is caught under the influence whilr driving then that's what they're guilty of.
Criminalizing something just because you think it's "bad" for you implies a mommy state where we depend on the government to remove our personal choices because we're not smart enough to be responsible for our own life and choices.

I would say no, legalize it like alcohol, would solve the war on drugs, tax benefits and less criminals.

There are arguments for both sides, but in my personal experience, the people I know who smoke pot work dead end jobs, put using before their families needs, have no ambition or personal drive (except to get high again) and most of them have criminal records for things other than drugs. Even if something is legal, that doen't make it right.

arresting people for taking a bic to a weed? sounds incredibly foolish and dare i say, evil, to me. why doesn't the government try to stomp out poison ivy instead. that would be better for society.

If it is legal, controlled by a "drug store", you could
keep track of who is buying, how much and watch for signs of abuse.
You can tax those buying it and stop wasting the cops time busting people for it.
tax buying the plants, tax all the forms of it (medical and recreational)
It is by far the stupidest waste of time for cops .... there are harder drugs out there!

It should be illegal because people get high and cause distruction and are sometimes violent. If driving they cause wrecks or if in a fight they could hit,hurt, or shoot somebody. Drugs like that are menace to society and should be illegal. People should realize that crap destorys their body and going to jail is a great punishment for being high and causing what they do.
