Discuss wether we as humans should try to control the ebb and flow of nature?

Should? Probably not.
But having nature ebb and flow normally causes us problems. Natural firestorms are part of the lifecycle of a forest for one example. But we cant let them burn unchecked. On the other hand, overcontrol can do more damage to nature than the "good" we thought we were doing. We dont know enough yet to decide what nature should and shouldnt be doing.
