Most people only do part one of the process.

Here is the full process:
1. Complain.
2. Educate yourself so don't pick the wrong solution to your problem.
3. Vote.
4. Write to your elected representatives to keep them on track regarding the results of step 2.
5. Rinse, lather, repeat.

The war in Iraq is such a huge mess; the USA made a fatal mistake; they thought it was going to be a piece of cake; in addition, they threatend iran and syria prior to the invasion of iraq; hence, do you actually think that the Iranians and syrians are going to make it easy for americans in iraq, both syria and iran have a vast amount of influence in iraq. USA should have never threatend Syria and Iran; moreover, we cant just leave iraq, if we do, taliban will announce its victory; they will advance their story line to the iraqi public; and if this does occur, taliban will recruit thousands of more rebles or freedom fighters. even though we may not be happy with our government, the problem is so complex and without the help of Middle Eastern experts it will be extremely difficult to solve or change. We need to elect a president that is familar with foreign policy; Guliani is not, he is a mayor! so please choose wisely this time around! we can change it with the president we elect.

I think the only way to change things is for the American people to rise up violently in Revolution. Voting will NOT change anything.... the election process is entirely rigged by the fascists in control.

Complaining is part of the change. Getting people to understand and think about who/what has caused our problems will get them to think a little more about who they vote for. Think of it not so much as complaining but as lobbying, attempting to persuade.

I didn't vote for those people.

Maybe things are starting to change.

Like now we have a black Governor in MA.

As much as people like to change , in a democratic society they are all apathetic , as they rest in the false sense of security that they have choices

i call and write my elected representative.

i give money for issues and to campaigns when I can.

i don't have the influence or power of businesses, lobbyists and those with more money.

but i'm told all men are created equal.

i'm struggling with that dichotomy.
