And does not identify himself "as" a police officer and the guy shoots and kills him, how do you think that would be viewed in Court? I have heard of this happening in a number of cases. Most of the time they usually end up in prison, but I know of at least one case in which they had to let the guy go! I guess this is why if you go to break someone's door down, make sure you have back-up! I think it would be foolish to do it on your own anyways! You don't know whats behind that door for sure! And if you have back-up then you also have a witness!

Amazingly enough it doesn't necessarily have to be a cop. Just because someone breaks down your door you do not have the right to kill them. The law usually allows for reasonable force to protect yourself. Unless you can prove that your life was being threatened and the ONLY way you could protect yourself was to kill the person you are likely in alot of trouble.

it rather is particularly a lot a kin - which police are very careful of. You felt obliged to ask those human beings on your social gathering - without rather understanding them. Be elementary, did you rather want that egg so badly? by utilising inviting those human beings - you created a large number of situation for your self. while you're in the united kingdom, you may the two get in touch with The Citizen's suggestion Bureau (CAB) for suggestion in this occasion. Or, you may desire to in line with threat communicate with a criminal expert approximately it - the 1st hour is commonly freed from charge - and clearly the criminal expert will say in the event that they are prepared to settle for the case. while you're someplace else, it would desire to be a danger to locate a physique akin to the CAB or in line with threat have interaction a criminal expert on a expert-bono foundation, those human beings created an affray and brought about criminal injury on your house. although, (and that's the element that the police will improve) there is not any asserting as to who or what began this. Given the shortcoming of cooperation out of your 'acquaintances' - it would desire to be which you ought to merely pay for the maintenance to be made and picture approximately your place with admire on your individuals and your neighbours. this may be extra maximum economical and much less demanding than taking this via court docket single-exceeded.

Different state state different things about people breaking in. However if someone breaks into your house, and you shoot them, you are defending your home. The police usually hve a warrant or reasonable cause to enter a dwelling. I do not care if you hear them say they are entering or not. YOU SHOOT A COP YOU ARE GOING DOWN! The court system is not going to believe that you didn't know it was them. If anything you will probably have the fullest extent of the laws punishment.

is that agaist the law not idendifying as police because use of any kind of force is dicated by the suspect but if he was unaware of them being police and they used force after he did he can sue the police because of no chance to comply is given but still firearms are illegal in the uk
i think that pelice should be equiped with these opti wands so they can look round corners and under/thou letter boxes of doors in homes and all raids of any kind should not be done solo its a sackable offence under health and safety rules i am no cop but i do have common sence but he had a gun and should still end up behind bars since they are illegal and i am sure it takes at least two people one to use the door ram and one to have his hands free to react

also if its a scearch just one officer will get the case dropped if anything is found since there can be accuseations of planting ect and during scearches the person(s) home being scearched must be present as well even if they are in cuffs

if it happens the way you described it, the homeowner should go free. however, i'd bet that more often than not he would be prosecuted for murder anyway.
