It is the first one I made and I'm twelve. What are some good tips, any suggestions?

Ok, don't be scared but here is some criticism:

Yes you can draw but this is charcoal. You use it like a pencil. Lines and some shading...you should go beyond that.

Try something big like a house and get into the shading of things. Draw blocks of black and grey and leave the lines out of the drawing.
Try to look at it as an object (or objects) not as something within lines you draw.

See how you can see (almost) no lines in that drawing?

I know you can do it You sure have talent.

It's pretty good for a twelve year old, but it looks to cartoonish or abstractish. I would smooth out the dark lines for the petals, blend some shadows. So they appear soft. And plus other charcoals have different effects too. Also taking art classes or community classes held in your city or town will also help you improved your art. I know taking art classes up in my college has really helped me in my art pieces. Keep it up, don't give up!

I think it's a very good drawing.

It looks a bit cartoony, but with practice, you'll be able to make them look more realistic.

I suggest that you try having the subject of your drawing in front of you. (In case you hadn't.)

Otherwise; Great job! Even I couldn't draw like that when I was twelve! :D

I'd say it's pretty freaking good! I never could figure out how to use charcoal, but you seem to have it down!

i like it but its a bit plain, try adding some more lines.

p.s. i am 12 as well but i loooove to draw faces and hands and am better than some pro artist, really.

OMG Thats is so good! Unless you ask my old art teacher. She always tell you that you can improve and not to toss out any art work.

It's pretty good! If its your first one then its real good (for your first) but it all depends on age and skill.
