i have no idea....this person sent me an invite the other night, and i thought it was weird that she was his only contact, but kinda blew it off. I added him and just saw this on my 360 homepage. Is this just a sick joke?

if this is not true then anyone involved will no longer be a friend of mine....i am at a loss for words right now, i pray it is not true, i liked her very much and she was a good friend of mine....i have not heard anything of the sort other than here. some of us were pretty close to her and why would her family contact just one person who was close to her and not all of us....i seriously a at a loss of words

marla it was brought to my attention that this was a hoax, and i could care who is mad, but i was told by a very reliable source this hoax was in fact set up by king, tigerlily, and sand and sea...what bothers me more is that sand and sea is up there talking about losing a sister when she knew all along it was a damn lie....i was informed others were involved also , i have yet to receive their names when i do i will inform....i am so pissed

Oh come ON, people. This is so OBVIOUSLY not true, I can't believe anyone is taking this seriously. This is just attention seeking, and it's stupid because whoever is doing it is trying to toy with people's emotions - and it's obviously working to some extent.
1) Nobody in their right mind would kill themselves over something somebody said on Y!A. Maybe a particularly nasty comment would tip an already suicidal person over the edge, but what I'm saying is that a person would not commit suicide because of a question/answer website.
2) As someone who's known 2 people who have committed suicide, I also know that if someone in your family killed him/herself, the last thing you would be thinking about the following day would be going into that person's computer account, getting in touch with one of their contacts on yahoo and asking them to put up a message blaming people for bullying.
I seriously can't believe anyone would fall for this, or that any idiot would put it up in the first place.

What a load of old tosh. Driven to suicide by Y/A and then within 24 hours the family ask someone to put up a notice thanking everyone. In England we have a unit of currency known as the nine bob note and this story is printed on the back of it.
