It's been beeping since I got home yesterday afternoon. I obviously don't have any carbon monoxide in my house, because i would have noticed in the past 26 hours (still opened windows and turned off heat to be on safe side). I've even unplugged the detector from the ceiling, but some thing in the wiring in the ceiling keeps beeping. It's driving me and my dog insane. Any one know to get it to stop?

Your battery could be old and need a new one. The detector itself could be too old and need replacing. Try changing the battery first and see if that helps. If not, buy a new one.

I have two carbon monoxide alarms. I have changed the batteries on both of them, but one keeps beeping. How can I keep it from beeping constantly. It drives me nuts. The brand is Pro Tech. I have called their 800 #, but no one has returned my call.

Could be there is carbon monoxide in the air, I've seen gas appliances make them go off if they are to close.
Mine did the same thing, I called the company and they sent me a new one.
